Tyler McElhenny- Limitless

Limitless was a very good movie. Bradley Cooper is becoming a very famous actor because of his role in the Hangover, and this allowed us to see a different side to his abilities. The concept behind the film was very interesting. A pill that would give somebody’s the mind to be able to process anything is awesome. I think I would fall under the same idea Eddie had in wanting to get everything he ever wanted in a short period of time. I would aspire to get everything I could and set up the rest of my life to be very fun and entertaining. The only problem, which Eddie obviously faced, was the downfall of not being on the pill anymore. In order to be limitless, you need to have AZT in your bloodstream. Eddie reaches a new low in drinking the blood off the floor. That is the only thing he could do at that point in order to prevent his disastrous downfall. The concept behind the film asked a big question to the audience. If given a choice, would you take everything you have ever wanted in a massive clump and then die? Or would you live your life not certain whether you would reach your dreams? It poses a very difficult question and I think I would take the pill but then again, my opinion might now change knowing that death would be imminent.
